Zap launched the three-wheeled XEBRA in '06, with a four-passenger sedan (MSRP $11,700) and a two-passenger pickup (MSRP $12,500). Zap believes the EV market will continue to grow rapidly, especially with the introduction of affordable vehicles such as the XEBRA that will deliver features, such as speeds in excess of 40 mph, not currently available among existing EVs.

ZAP also offers a photovoltaic panel option for its Xebra models called the Xero (MSRP $1500). Xebras get their main charge from a standard 110 volt outlet, but on the Xero a solar panel can power short-distance trips all on its own.

ZAP is launching a new utility truck model in Fall '08 called the ZapTruck XL.

The expected MSRP for the ZapTruck XL is $14,950.
