About the Graduate Student Network... We believe that in all endevours -- from success in business and academics to making new friends -- 'it's all about social networking'. To better facilitate our live events and parties we also offer a social networking website with an online forum and picture gallery so that our members can stay in touch and coordinate to meet at other events. And, at each event, we try to create a social space where that encourages intellectual exchange -- a place where you can talk about something that is interesting and meaningful. Our goal is to provide an ongoing series of events where graduate students and their friends can network to meet each other and stay in touch. We have recognized that there are over two hundred thousand graduate and professional students in New York, in all disciplines ranging from medicine to law, from art history to zoology, from MBAs to MFAs, and much more. We believe you -- the graduate students of the New York region -- are the cultural leaders of today and will become the business, political and intellectual leaders of our time. We hope these events will spark new connections and foster ongoing, long-term relationships -- professional as well as personal.
